Fujairah research Center has welcomed a delegation from HERIOT WATT University. A UK-based University represented by Dr Michel J. Kaiser, Chief Scientist & Professor of Fisheries Conservation. Dr Fouad Lamghari, Director of Fujairah Research Center discussed joint PHD programmes that cover Coral Restoration, Marine Ecosystems Preservation and Marina Monitoring. An initiative that will fortify Fujairah’s direction in promoting Marine Life richness and preservation in the Emirate. Later, the HERIOT WATT delegation visited the Wadi Wurayah Biosphere reserve, where Dr Ali Hassan Al Hamoudi, the Director of the reserve presented the activities led by Fujairah Environment Authority and Fujairah Research Center to protect the Fujairah’s rich marine wildlife and conserve the ecosystems. A marine research collaboration agreement between HERIOT WATT University and Fujairah Research Center has been discussed, drafted, and approved.
